As part of an environmental initiative, precast panels were used to create a dust mitigation and sound reduction barrier for Hunter Quarries’ new rock crusher.

We are on the lookout for two senior and highly experienced people from the precast and/or construction industries to join us!
Available Positions
We are currently seeking dedicated individuals for the following full-time roles at our Thornton facility:
- Senior Precast Concreter – Production
- Senior Precast Concreter – Lift Crew
Senior Precast Concreter – Production
You’ll be responsible for all aspects of precast production, from steel fixing and formwork to pouring slabs and ensuring the highest quality finishes.
Key Skills & Experience:
- Steel fixing and general concrete formwork/finishing skills
- Ability to read and interpret detailed shop drawings
- Experience with concrete patching, rendering repairs, and panel refacing
Senior Precast Concreter – Lift Crew
You’ll be responsible for safely rigging, dogging, loading, and unloading precast panels using heavy machinery.
Key Skills & Experience:
- Rigging and dogging precast panels, or similar, in a workshop environment
- Experience loading and unloading heavy vehicles
- HRW Licenses (Forklift, EWP, Basic Rigging, Dogman & Overhead Crane) are a plus
Both roles require:
- Strong commitment to safety
- Physical fitness to meet the demands of the job
- Ability to pass Full Functional Medical/Random Drug Screening & Daily Alcolizer
